What is Kiyosato Ihatov Hostel?

Kiyosato Ihatov Hostel Introduction

We are a small hostel for 24 people, opened at Kiyosato-cho in 1992 by a group of travellers that fell in love with the Okhotsk, Shiretoko area and Mount Shari. A member of the “The Most Beautiful Villages Of Japan” alliance, and selected as one of the 20 most picturesque villages nationwide, Kiyosato-cho is an hour’s drive from Shiretoko and Lake Mashu, 40 minutes from Abashiri, making it the ideal base for sightseeing in Shiretoko, Abashiri, Akan and other areas in East Hokkaido. Also, during the hiking season, it is the ideal location for climbing Mt. Rausu, Mt. Shari and Mt. Akan. Also, in the summer, we have a nature guided tour in Shiretoko, and hot air balloon free flight in winter, and other activities. Plus, we provide cheap car rental and cheap trip planning services. We will continue to offer many good memories and good trips to you in the future.
